Here are six rituals you should include in your beauty regime to keep your skin healthy, glowing and protected this summer:

1. Moisturise

Your body loses a lot of moisture during summer heat. Therefore, it is essential to hydrate your body regularly. We recommend using water or gel based moisturiser as these are more lightweight on the skin compared to heavier, oil based moisturisers. It's also essential to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Doing so will show huge effect on your skin.

2. Cleanse and exfoliate

Cleanse your face twice a day and exfoliate your skin a couple of times a week to deeply cleanse and get rid of built up dirt and sweat within the pores. This is an important step in keeping your skin healthy also in allowing better penetration of other skincare products. 

3. Don't forget sunscreen

Use a sunscreen whenever you step out. This is a crucial application as sunscreen helps in shielding your skin from harmful UV radiations that bring about the early onset of skin ageing as well as damage to the skin surface. 

4. Stay low on makeup

We all love to apply makeup but during summers you need to keep it lighter. To protect the skin's natural glow and avoid damage to the skin barrier, the most important thing is to stay away from heavy makeup and get into the habit of taking it off before sleeping to let the pores breathe.
