Tips for soothing your skin after being in the sun
Sunburn not only damages the DNA in your cells, but also the collagen and elastin in your skin. The devastating effects of the sun are cumulative and cause long-term physical changes such as sagging tissues, the appearance of wrinkles and even skin cancer. This is why it is important to calm the skin, but also to repair and protect it.
So what do you do when you're experiencing the effects of sunburn?
Step 1: Soothe
To instantly bring more comfort to the skin, directly apply a cooling compress for at least 5 minutes on the affected area. For this, choose a lotion based on anti-inflammatory and decongestant floral waters that will calm the local inflammation to reduce redness and burning sensations.
Step 2: Repair
To repair and protect your skin, use a calming oil. It will soothe the sensitivity and discomfort associated with sunburn and repair the skin protection barrier
Step 3: Protect
