HOW TO KEEP YOUR SKIN HYDRATED ALL THROUGHOUT SUMMER
With warmer weather approaching, comes our skin being more exposed to the sun. Therefore, it's now extra important to keep our skin looking and feeling more hydrated!
Only bath/shower in luke-warm water
Apply oil or moisturiser immediately after bathing and showering
Drink lots of water
Water keeps your body hydrated and refreshed and helps maintain your skin's elasticity. People who drink large amounts of water are less likely to suffer from scars, wrinkles, and soft lines and they won't show as many signs of aging as those who drink little amounts of water. We recommend drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day and more when it is hot
Choose clean, hydrating body cleansers.
Instead of general body washes (that are known for actually drying out your skin), opt instead for body cleansers made with gentle ingredients such as aloe vera, herbal extracts, and nourishing oils to help moisturise the skin while removing dirt.
We recommend staying clear from body cleansers that are highly perfumed as these can cause or aggravate already dry skin.
